Hung Up formed in the summer of 2003 and played their first gig in July 2004 in a Hampshire pub.
After comprising enough original material together, ‘Take What’s Ours’ was recorded in January 2005 at the Dug Out studio, Fareham.
Following the release of the EP, they played numerous local gigs including playing with famed punk stalwarts the Anti Nowhere League at the Joiners, Southampton.
Another EP ‘Relapse’ soon followed in June 2006. In April/May 2008, after many late night writing sessions and various gigs within Hampshire, a third and most recent EP was recorded – ‘These Bastard Isles’.
In June 2008 Hung up supported Army of Freshmen at the Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea.
